"My Great Grandfather, Don Felipe Gonzalez Guzman arrived in Cuba during the height of the Spanish American war, he settled and started a cigar factory which distributed cigars across the island. My Grandfather continued the business and my father began learning the trade at a young age. The Cuban revolution forced them off the island.

Once in the United States, it didn't take my Grandfather long to get back in the business. He opened a cigar factory in Saint Augustine, Florida in 1966 and moved to Miami in the late 1970's to open a factory in Little Havana.

I grew up visiting my Grandfathers factory. I remember watching his staff prepare tobacco for rolling, make bunches, and wrap the cigars. While I was too young to learn about the business it gave me a good foundation to build on. I started developing a passion for cigars as soon as I was old enough to smoke them."
